Eric Renteria

Eric Renteria is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing back-end applications and optimizing data processing pipelines, particularly in the genomic data domain. At ClickUp since September 2021, Eric has contributed to the creation of internal tools and REST APIs using Python and web frameworks such as Flask and Sanic, while leveraging AWS technologies for scalable processing. Prior experience at Ancestry involved designing and maintaining backend systems for genomic data management, collaborating with scientists to integrate algorithms. Earlier roles included web application development at the Division of Biological Sciences at UCSD and systems troubleshooting. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
