Alexandra Pearce's work experience begins in 2008 as a Teacher at Thomas More College, where they taught various subjects and took on additional roles such as Head of Hosking House and creator of an annual creative writing publication. Alexandra continued their teaching career at Lord Grey School in the United Kingdom, teaching English, History, Sociology, and Geography, and taking on additional responsibilities such as literacy support and fundraising.

Returning to Australia, they became a High School Teacher at Emmanuel College Point Cook, where they taught subjects such as English, History, and Religion, along with additional duties including curriculum development, coaching sports teams, and fundraising for charities. Alexandra also worked as a Content Creator at Matilda Education Australia, where they edited Science textbooks for years 7-10.

Alexandra then pursued their interest in publishing and worked as a Publicity Manager at Grattan Street Press, a growing independent press run by graduate publishing students at the University of Melbourne. Alexandra interned at Affirm Press, a Melbourne-based publisher, where they gained experience in the children's book department, social media, and publicity roles.

In 2022, Alexandra took on the role of Content Creator at ClickView, a company focused on educational resources. Alexandra also volunteered as a Social Media Curator for All 4 Paws Dog Rescue, contributing to the team's efforts to connect rescue animals with their adoptive homes.

Most recently, in 2022, Alexandra joined Cool Australia as an Editor and Content Creator.

Alexandra Pearce began their education journey in 2001, attending the University of Tasmania. Alexandra pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English and History, completing their studies in 2003.

Following this, in 2004, Alexandra briefly returned to the University of Tasmania to pursue an Honours degree in English, receiving their Bachelor of Arts with Honours that same year.

In 2005, they continued their studies at the University of Tasmania, this time pursuing a Bachelor of Teaching degree with a focus on English and S.O.S.E. Alexandra completed their teaching degree in 2006.

Most recently, Alexandra enrolled at the University of Melbourne in 2020 to pursue a Masters of Publishing and Communication degree. As of now, it is unclear when they will complete this program.
