Maria Thimothy has a diverse work experience starting in 2007 as an Assistant Director at the French Institute of the North Shore. Maria then worked as a Freelance Writer for Forbes in 2008. In 2009, they joined OneIMS - Integrated Marketing Solutions as a Senior Digital Marketing Consultant. In 2015, they became a Customer Success Manager at Clickx. In 2016, Maria founded their own company, Digital PR.

Maria Thimothy completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Northwestern University from 2002 to 2006. Maria later pursued an MBA degree in Business Administration and Management from North Park University, completing it from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications in digital marketing and advertising. Maria'scertifications include Blueprint Certification from Facebook (obtained in January 2016), Mobile Advertising, Search Advertising, Shopping Advertising, and Video Advertising from Google (obtained in January 2015 and 2016), Bing Ads Accredited Professional from Microsoft (obtained in January 2014), and numerous certifications from HubSpot including HubSpot Inbound Certification, HubSpot Software Certification, and Hubspot Agency Partner Certification (obtained in January 2012 and 2013). Furthermore, they obtained certifications in Display Advertising and Google Ads Fundamentals from Google (obtained in January 2008).
