Jeff Ploetner

Jeff Ploetner has a wealth of experience in the engineering and technology industry, having worked for several companies over the past two decades. In 2016, they began working for CLICS as Vice President of Engineering, and later as Director of Engineering and Investor. From 2010 to 2016, they worked for ecoATM as Senior Manager of Software Engineering, Vision and Robotics, where they were responsible for visual and mechanical subsystems of ecoATM kiosks. From 2006 to 2010, they were Co-Founder and CFO of RealGifts Inc., where they gained experience in all aspects of the business. Finally, from 2001 to 2006, they worked for National Instruments as a Hardware and Software Co-op/Intern, where they designed test systems, performed hardware and software integration and compliance.

Jeff Ploetner obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering (Robotics, Controls, and Computer Design) from The University of Texas at Austin between 2000 and 2004. Jeff then went on to earn a Master of Engineering in Electrical/Computer Engineering (Intelligent Systems, Robotics, and Control) from UC San Diego between 2004 and 2007. In 2006, they obtained an Advanced Certificate in Technology Business Creation from UC San Diego Extension. Finally, in 2016, they received QuickBooks Online Certification from Intuit.
