Gene Hankey is a highly accomplished senior manufacturing operations manager with extensive experience in steel production and operations management. Previously, as Plant Manager at U.S. Steel, Gene oversaw large teams and ensured efficient operations, achieving unprecedented production levels. As a Division Manager at Cleveland-Cliffs and in a General Manager role, Gene focused on strategic transformation and operational excellence, driving significant financial savings and enhancing employee engagement through comprehensive training initiatives. With a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, Gene is currently seeking new opportunities to leverage expertise in problem-solving and team building.
