Shawn Hern

Shawn Hern is an Engineering Director at ClimateMaster, Inc., specializing in HVAC systems. Growing up on a farm in northern Oklahoma ignited their passion for mechanical systems, which led to a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University. Shawn has developed innovative water-source heat pump systems and has received accolades for their designs, including an R&D 100 award. They have held leadership positions at companies like Johnson Controls and Comfortworks, where they gained insights into HVAC design challenges. Outside of engineering, Shawn enjoys designing and building furniture and tackling home projects in Yukon, OK, where they reside with their spouse and three children.
