Salahuddin has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Salahuddin started their career as a Social Work Intern at SOS Children's Villages International in 2013 and later worked as a Corporate Intern in International Banking at Habib Bank Limited in 2014.

In 2016, Salahuddin joined The Citizens Foundation as a Coordinator, where they developed partnerships with educational institutions for volunteer recruitment, contributed to the development of the core curriculum for the Alumni Development Programme, and conducted university admission awareness trainings.

During the same period, Salahuddin also joined The Aman Foundation as a Management Trainee for M&E and Special Projects. Here, they worked on social impact measurement tools and sustainable funding sources, and successfully monitored the implementation of a project aimed at improving the socio-economic lives of marginalized women.

From 2020 to 2022, Salahuddin worked at Karandaaz Pakistan as a Program Analyst for Digital Financial Services. Their responsibilities included monitoring the implementation of the Financial Services for Poor program, conducting yearly work planning exercises, developing financial performance reports, and providing regular donor reporting on program progress.

Currently, Salahuddin is employed at Climate Alpha as a Data Researcher and Analyst, starting in 2022. Further details about their role and responsibilities are not provided.

Salahuddin has a diverse education history. In 2018-2019, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International/Global Studies at Boston University. The following year, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics and Policy at Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs. Prior to this, Salahuddin completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing and History at the Institute of Business Administration from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, in 2014, they briefly attended Delta State University, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Salahuddin's formal education began at Aga Khan Higher Secondary School in Gilgit, where they completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate from 2005 to 2010.

Salahuddin has also obtained several additional certifications. Salahuddin completed the Intermediate SQL certification from DataCamp in January 2023. In December 2022, they obtained the Data Analyst with Python certification, also from DataCamp. Additionally, Salahuddin completed the Impact Evaluation Methods with Applications in Low- and Middle-Income Countries certification from Georgetown University in August 2022. In July 2022, they obtained the Applied Machine Learning in Python certification from the University of Michigan. Salahuddin also completed the Applied Plotting, Charting & Data Representation in Python certification from the University of Michigan in February 2022. In November 2021, they obtained the Python for Everybody Specialization certification from the University of Michigan. Prior to this, Salahuddin completed the Introduction to Data Science in Python certification from the University of Michigan in February 2021. Salahuddin also holds the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certification from Bloomberg LP, obtained in October 2020. Finally, Salahuddin completed the Data Analyst with R certification from DataCamp in April 2020.
