Luzie Helfmann

Luzie Helfmann is a Senior Climate Data Scientist at Climate Analytics, having previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Zuse Institute Berlin, where they focused on model reduction techniques and coordinated various academic events. Luzie developed methods to quantify tipping and transition paths in stochastic dynamics during their PhD at Freie Universität Berlin, where they also gained experience as a Doctoral Student and co-supervised students. They served as a Student Ambassador and Mentor at University College London, supporting high school students in their higher education decisions. Luzie holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mathematics and Physics and Mathematics, respectively, from UCL and Freie Universität Berlin.
