Sofía G. is a Senior Climate Policy Analyst at Climate Analytics, where they lead the Climate Action Tracker project. With over eight years of experience, they have contributed to complex research and policy initiatives to guide stakeholders in achieving climate mitigation goals. Previously, they served as a Climate Policy Advisor at NewClimate Institute, advising government institutions in developing countries on aligning their policies with the Paris Agreement. Sofía has also held roles at Libélula Comunicación Ambiente y Desarrollo and the Ministry of the Environment in Peru. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology-Ecology from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina and a Master’s degree in Global Change Ecology from Universität Bayreuth.
