Bernd Eggen

Bernd Eggen is a Senior Environmental Public Health Scientist at the UK Health Security Agency since January 2022, with a rich background in climate change and public health. As the Director & Chief Consultant at BRE Climate Consulting Ltd since September 2011, Bernd specializes in climate-related desktop studies. Bernd also serves as a Climate Change Adaptation Expert for the Climate and Development Knowledge Network and as an Associate at Climate-Insight, contributing to climate information management. Prior roles include CCA Expert with UNDP, Systems Development Manager at the UK Health Security Agency, and Copernicus Climate Service Coordinator at the Met Office. Bernd holds a DPhil in Chemistry from the University of Sussex and a Prediploma in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics from the University of Freiburg.
