Jeremy Dore

Jeremy Dore is the Executive Manager and General Counsel at Climate Friendly, where they provide legal, compliance, and governance advice for a portfolio of land carbon projects and build partnerships with Aboriginal groups. Jeremy's career includes serving as a Special Adviser at the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency, where they helped design the world's first carbon offsets legislation, and as a Senior Lawyer at the Central Land Council, where they successfully negotiated a significant native title settlement. They have also worked independently as a carbon advisory consultant and contributed to various projects with the Aboriginal Carbon Fund. Jeremy holds degrees in Science and Laws from the University of Melbourne, International Environmental Law from The University of British Columbia, and has studied Native Title Law and Policy.
