Skye Glenday

Skye Glenday is an experienced leader in climate policy and sustainable development, currently serving as Director at the Carbon Market Institute since November 2021, and Co-Chief Executive Officer at Climate Friendly since May 2016. With a robust background in strategy, risk management, and compliance, Skye has held various roles at Climate Friendly, including Executive Manager of Strategy & Analytics and Head of Business Development & Risk. Prior to these positions, Skye played a pivotal role at the Climate Policy Initiative, establishing a new office in Indonesia and leading key projects such as sustainable palm oil strategies for Unilever. Skye's expertise further includes advising on green economic development programs at AusAID and contributing to Australia's climate policies at the Department of Climate Change & Energy Efficiency. Educational qualifications encompass degrees in Law and Arts from the University of Sydney, alongside graduate certifications in Economics and Legal Practice from UNSW and The Australian National University, respectively.
