Climate Opera Haus is an independent opera production company building a new operatic canon for the climate age.

We design and produce original operatic works that treat climate not as a theme or message, but as the defining condition of the century. Our focus is not awareness or commentary. Our focus is creating serious operas that can be returned to, staged again, and carried forward by institutions over time.

Climate Opera Haus is built on the belief that climate cannot be held by data or policy language alone. It requires shared cultural forms that allow people to feel consequence, responsibility, and continuity. Opera, with its capacity for scale, memory, and emotional truth, provides that form.

Our work is structured as a unified repertoire rather than isolated productions. The backbone of this repertoire is The Climate Tetralogy, a cycle of four operas structured around the elemental conditions of life on Earth: Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. Each opera functions as a complete work, while also forming part of a closed system governed by a shared internal law across narrative, music, and consequence.

These operas are designed to travel, return, and accumulate meaning through repeated performance. They are built for institutional adoption, long-term touring, and cultural continuity, rather than one-off premieres.

Climate Opera Haus collaborates with composers, directors, librettists, orchestras, cultural institutions, universities, and civic partners. Our production model emphasizes artistic authority, disciplined development, and responsible production choices that respect place, community, and truth.
