Aaron Davitt

Sector lead - Livestock Emissions

Aaron Davitt is a remote sensing scientist and analyst with over 10 years of experience in applying satellite measurements to assess land surface conditions and monitor greenhouse gas emissions. They served as an assistant high school science teacher and later as a head science teacher, focusing on environmental education. Currently, Aaron holds the position of Principal Analyst in Remote Sensing at WattTime.org, where they lead research to estimate cattle emissions and support the Climate TRACE initiative. Aaron has completed a PhD in Earth and Environmental Sciences and has a BA in Ecology from the University of Denver.
