Scott Shell is a seasoned professional in sustainability and architectural advocacy, currently serving in a strategies role at ClimateWorks Foundation since February 2022, where efforts focus on decarbonizing the steel, cement, concrete, and chemical industries globally. Prior to this, Scott held the position of Co-Chair for Advocacy within the Climate Action Committee at AIA California from December 2019 to December 2023, and was a partner at EHDD Architecture from February 1996 to February 2022. Scott's involvement with the American Institute of Architects included leadership roles on various committees and juror responsibilities for prestigious awards. Scott's academic background includes a Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University, a master's degree in Humanities from Stanford University, and PhD studies at the University of Chicago, complemented by language studies at the Goethe Institute and the American Institute of Indian Studies.
