Akshika Patel

Akshika Patel is a social impact professional currently pursuing a Master of International Affairs & Public Affairs with a focus on Economic Development at Columbia University. Their previous roles include serving as a Graduate Student Consultant for the United Nations Capital Development Fund, where they managed a team that recommended innovative financing solutions for low-income households in Senegal. Akshika also worked as a Senior Associate at Pathstone, integrating sustainability and impact investing principles into client portfolios, and as a Policy Research Fellow at the NGO Working Group on Women, Peace and Security, conducting analyses on critical global issues. Additionally, they have held various positions such as a Peace Corps Volunteer in HIV/AIDS capacity building and a Program Assistant with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
