Daniel Hill

Daniel Hill is a climate innovation leader and the creator of #OpenDoorClimate, a global social movement that connects climate professionals with job seekers. Currently serving as the Director of Business and Innovation at the Environmental Defense Fund, Daniel amplifies climate innovation within major businesses and hosts the Degrees Podcast miniseries 'Year of the Climate Job.' Over the past decade, Daniel has built and scaled programs that empower thousands to take climate action, including founding the Green Impact Campaign, which trains students to conduct energy assessments for small businesses. Their work has been recognized with honors such as the Echoing Green fellowship and the Force for Change Award from Net Impact. Daniel holds multiple degrees from James Madison University, including a BS in Integrated Science and Technology and an MBA.
