Imane Darkaoui

Imane (Amany) Darkaoui is an environmental finance professional who bridges quantitative finance, climate policy, and international diplomacy. They began their career in investment banking at Société Générale, where they structured equity derivatives and co-developed ESG-driven financial products, gaining expertise in sustainability and financial innovation. Currently, as a Research Assistant at the International Arctic Research Center, Imane studies the global implications of Arctic change while advocating for inclusive climate policies as a Fellow in the Just Transition Academy. Engaging with youth and indigenous advocacy networks, they focus on designing solutions that integrate finance, science, and social equity. Imane is pursuing opportunities in sustainable finance, ESG consulting, and international climate policy to further their commitment to equitable climate transitions.
