Ivar Spydevold

Ivar Spydevold is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the space and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as CEO of Statsat AS since September 2014, Ivar focuses on providing cost-effective space-related services to the Norwegian government, including satellite development and operations. In addition, Ivar holds roles as Board Member at ClimatePoint, Head of Innovation and Development at Space Norway, and Managing Director at Scherzo AS / House of Energy AS, facilitating international solar projects and consulting services. Ivar's leadership extends to the role of Chairperson of the Board at STIFTELSEN NSR, overseeing fund management for Norway's largest rowing club. Ivar also has a background in business development, marketing, and management consultancy, complemented by an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Cand. Scient degree in Physics from the University of Oslo.
