David Corbett

David Corbett currently serves as the Strategic Partner Manager and Country Director for Canada at ClimateView, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this, David worked as the Urban Research, Innovation, and Development Officer at ICLEI from April 2022 to April 2025, contributing to sustainable urban development initiatives across a global network of local governments. David's diverse experience includes a brief stint as a Freelance Analyst at CIL Management Consultants, and as a Market Research Consultant at Launch U Queensland, where leadership of a team focused on market viability reports was key. Previous roles include Research Assistant at QUT, where David engaged in data analysis for various community projects, and internships at Greater Tygerberg Partnership and CNdV Africa, which involved project implementation and technical report compilation. David holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Urban Studies from QUT and has advanced degrees in urban planning and social science from the University of Cape Town.
