Michael Bergöö

Michael Bergöö has a long and varied work experience. In 2002, they worked as an Assistant at UBS. In 2006, they were a Trainee at the Representation of Switzerland to the United Nations and an Editorial Staff and Translator for BANCO Le magazine suisse de l'asset management. In 2008, they joined Hanser Consulting AG as a Public Sector Consultant. From 2012 to 2013, they were an Administrator at the Programme Office of the Swiss Humanitarian Aid in Monrovia and a Business Development Advisor, Head of Programme Switzerland and Member of the Executive Committee at Biovision Foundation. In 2017, they were the Managing Director of SDSN Switzerland and in 2019 they became the VP Community Growth at ClimateView, where they are responsible for bringing cities and regions onto the ClimateOS platform and supporting them in developing digital climate action plans that attract funding.

Michael Bergöö completed an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Lausanne - UNIL between 2001 and 2007. Michael also spent an Erasmus Year at the University of Tübingen from 2005 to 2006. In 2011, they completed a CAS in Business Management from the University of Zurich.
