Marlon Daquel has worked for ten companies since 2005. Marlon began their career as a System Programmer for Salary Packaging Software/Money Matters Ltd. in 2005. In 2006, they moved to Willmott Forests Limited as a System Development Officer. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Senior C# .NET MVC Web Developer for Manheim. Marlon then moved to Scoopon as a Senior .NET Developer. In 2013, they joined IBSA as a Senior .NET Developer. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Principal Developer and Software Developer for Liberty Financial Pty Ltd. Marlon then moved to Credit Clear as a Principal Developer. In 2018, they joined RCS Technologies Pty Ltd as a Senior Principal Developer. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Principal Engineer for Remitter. Marlon currently works as a Senior Principal Engineer for Climavision.

Marlon Daquel completed a Bachelor of Information Technology in Computing from the University of Canberra in 2003, a Diploma of Information Technology in Computing from the University of Canberra College in 2001, a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the Technological Institute of the Philippines in 1995, and an Associate in Computer Technology from System Technology Institute in 1990.
