Andrew Primo

Manager, Program Development at ClimeCo

Andrew joined ClimeCo in 2022 as a Manager for Program Development. He works with corporate partners and carbon registries to assess the feasibility of new GHG emission reduction and removal projects and drafts technical methodologies for carbon crediting programs. He has experience across many sectors — focusing on decarbonizing heavy industry, waste management, and shipping.

Before joining ClimeCo, Andrew worked as a policy analyst for the Colorado Water Conservation Board, researching innovative sharing and transaction methods for the state’s water plan. In this role, he helped create processes to make long-term natural resource planning more equitable and inclusive. Additionally, Andrew served six years in the U.S. Air Force, developing and managing several logistics and training programs. He also has professional experience in education and agriculture.

Andrew holds a Master’s in Environmental and Natural Resources Policy from the University of Colorado Boulder and a B.A. in English and Linguistics from the Metropolitan State University of Denver.
