Scott Subler

Chief Science Officer at ClimeCo

Scott Subler, Ph.D., joined ClimeCo in 2015 and serves as Chief Science Officer and Leader of the Project Development Team. He was the co-founder and former president of Environmental Credit Corp. He currently serves as a trustee of the Composting Council Research and Education Foundation.

Scott is a widely recognized scientific and policy expert in the areas of ecosystem carbon and nutrient cycling and management; soil ecology; and environmental credits, for which he received the Climate Action Reserve’s distinguished Carrot Award. Scott chaired the Offset Committee of the Chicago Climate Exchange from 2007 to 2011. He founded and served as president of Pacific Garden Company, a producer and marketer of organic soil fertility products. He also served as a research scientist and professor at The Ohio State University.
