Senior Data Privacy & Quality Manager at Climedo

Max K. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2007, they started as a Management Assistant at ASV Dachau, where they worked until 2008. From 2006 to 2012, Max was an Athlete, Public Relations Manager, and Freelance Journalist at ASV Dachau / TSV Friedberg. In 2013, they had concurrent roles as a Student Employee at Telefónica Germany and as a Writer and Editor at WebSquare. Max also worked as a Proofreader for Freelance Editing & Proofreading from 2013 to 2015, specializing in scientific term papers and theses. Max joined Brainlab in 2016 as a QM Associate for their QMS & PSO division until 2019 when they transitioned to the role of QM Associate for MDR & Vigilance. From 2019 to 2022, Max worked at ONCARE GmbH as the Manager of Product & Projects before being promoted to the Head of Product & Project Management. Since 2022, Max has been working as a Data Privacy & Quality Manager at Climedo. Additionally, they have been a Volleyball Head Coach at FTM Schwabing since 2007, coaching both indoor and beach volleyball teams of various ages and skill levels.

Max K. completed a Master's Degree in American Literature and Culture (United States) from the University of Augsburg between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, Max K. earned a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Augsburg between 2009 and 2012.

In addition to formal education, Max K. also obtained several certifications. These include a DSB (data privacy) certification from TÜV SüD in July 2020, MPG certifications for Sicherheitsbeauftragter for MD (§30) & Medizinprodukteberater (§31) from Medidee in September 2019, Risk Management training according to EN ISO 14971 from Medidee in September 2019, FDA CFR 21 part 820 & ISO: 13485 - Quality System Regulation certification from Brainlab in May 2016, a fitness instructor certification from Akud & Co. Bildungsgesellschaft MbH in April 2010, and a volleyball coaching license (B) from the Bavarian Volleyball Federation in 2008.
