Caroline Ott

Caroline Ott is a highly experienced professional in climate policy and finance, currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor and Director of Carbon Markets at Climeworks since March 2024. Concurrently, Caroline holds the position of Adjunct Professor in Carbon Accounting and Management at the University of Colorado Boulder. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Climate Impact at Vision Ridge Partners, LLC, and various roles at RMI, including Principal and Manager in Global Climate Finance. Previous consultancy work at The World Bank and California Environmental Associates further highlights a robust background in carbon markets. Caroline began a career with research positions at Ecosystem Marketplace and The Cadmus Group. Academic credentials include a BA in Economics from Barnard College and an MA in Development Economics from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
