Frederik Görg

Frederik Görg is a seasoned professional in the fields of sustainability and physics, currently serving as Vice President of Sorbent & Structures at Climeworks since January 2022, where Frederik leads the R&D department in developing advanced sorbent materials for direct air capture plants. Previously, Frederik held the role of Vice President Strategy at Climeworks, positioning the company as a leader in carbon removal, and led the Strategy team focusing on areas such as technology development and operational execution. Frederik's experience also includes a significant tenure at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Associate, providing consultancy on sustainability for various industries. Academic credentials include a Doctorate in Physics from ETH Zürich and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Technical University of Munich.
