Maxime Tornier has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position was at Climeworks as the Head of Technology & Engineering Programs. Prior to that, they worked as an R&D Project Manager at Climeworks. Before joining Climeworks, Maxime worked at Dyson as a Senior Research Engineer, leading a team and delivering new technologies across multiple disciplines. Maxime also held the positions of Advanced Research Engineer and Research Engineer at Dyson. At Airbus, Maxime worked as a Mass Properties Engineer, where they contributed to the company's aircraft development projects.

Maxime Tornier completed their education at Centrale Lille from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Diplome d'Ingénieur in Généraliste. In 2009-2010, they also pursued an Aerospace Vehicle Design MSc at Cranfield University with a focus on Aircraft Design.
