Davide Calì

Davide Calì has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Davide started their career as a Tirocinante at ENEL Divisione Generazione ed Energy Management Conphoebus Srl in 2005. In 2006, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Starrag. Davide then moved on to Fraunhofer ISE in 2008, where they served as a Research Associate for a year. From 2009 to 2017, Davide worked as a Research Assistant at Lehrstuhl für Gebäude- und Raumklimatechnik, E.ON ERC, RWTH Aachen University. In 2017, they joined DTU Compute as a Postdoctoral Researcher and later took on the roles of Researcher and Senior Researcher. In 2021, Davide started working as the CEO & Co-Founder of CLIMIFY and also became an Editorial Board Member at Energies MDPI.

Davide Calì earned their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained their Master's degree in Ingegneria meccanica from Università di Catania between 2005 and 2008, and their Bachelor's degree in Ingegneria meccanica from the same university between 2002 and 2005.
