Lu Miao

Lu Miao is an experienced biostatistician currently serving as Associate Director of Biostatistics at MEI Pharma since November 2021, transitioning from a functional service provider to a full-time role. Miao holds a long-standing position at ClinChoice, starting as a Biostatistician and advancing to Principal Biostatistician. Prior to these roles, Miao contributed to cancer research at UT Southwestern Medical Center and gained valuable statistical knowledge as a Graduate Student in Statistics at Texas A&M University. Miao earned a PhD in Toxicology and Cancer Biology from the University of Kentucky, where significant research included the regulation of superoxide dismutase in diseases and the investigation of mechanisms related to chemotherapy-induced cardiac injury.
