Edward Wright

Edward Wright is the Representative Director of Clinigen KK and General Manager for East Asia, overseeing operations in Japan and South Korea. With a PhD in Chemistry and an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD, Edward has over 15 years of experience in business development, investment evaluation, and alliance management within the pharmaceutical industry. Their previous roles include leadership positions at Bayer, where they managed various specialty care, ophthalmology, and business development units. Edward has also served as a 1st Secretary for the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Tokyo and has board experience with the Kansai Pharmaceutical Licensing Association. Fluent in Japanese, Edward brings extensive international experience across Europe and Asia.
