Tom D.

Tom D. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tom began their career in 1988 as a Researcher at the M.E. Müller Institute for Biomechanics in Bern, Switzerland, where they focused on the construction and processing of medical 3-D images.

In 1989, Tom joined Siemens Energy & Automation in Brussels as a Software Engineer, working on the development and installation of the Belgian electronic railway traffic control system. Tom later became an Engineer, leading the computer automation project for a marshalling yard system.

From 1994 to 1998, Tom worked at Delphi Consultants as a Consultant and Project Leader, serving large companies such as KBC and Honda Europe. Tom was involved in various software architecture and consulting projects, including data distribution systems, process management systems, and software distribution for banks and car dealerships.

In 1998, Tom joined MIPS n.v., a medical laboratory software company, as a Software Development Engineer. Tom specialized in modules requiring extensive medical knowledge and played a key role in the development and product management of various modules. Tom also initiated and developed CyberTrack, a software product for blood transfusion safety.
