Joren Kuiper

Joren Kuiper has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joren started their career at Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria as a Line Lead, where they supervised the back-of-house cooking staff and ensured the quality of food. Joren then worked as a Crew Lead at Horizon Landscape Contractors Inc. In 2018, Joren served as a Project Coordinator at Form-All Construction Ltd., where they managed work orders, tracked receivables, and assisted in project costing and bidding. The following year, they joined the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure as a Project Assistant, responsible for preparing documentation and reviewing invoices for federal audit. At BC Hydro, Joren had a role as a Supply Chain Intern, leading an analysis of top suppliers' performance and reviewing the reporting process for high-value contracts. Later, they became a Client Success Specialist at Bench Accounting, reducing client churn and facilitating communication between clients and internal stakeholders. Joren then joined Shift as a Client Success Specialist and later transitioned into the role of Business Development & Success Specialist. Currently, they are working as a Business Development Representative at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology.

Joren Kuiper attended the University of Victoria from 2016 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Entrepreneurship. In 2019, they also participated in an academic exchange term at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz in Austria, focusing on Business/Commerce.
