Ryan McGivern has a diverse work history with experience in various roles within the culinary and business development fields. Ryan began their career as a Chef De Partie at The Black Bull Inn in 2011, later transitioning to a Chef De Partie role at Aureole Restaurant in 2013. Ryan then joined Tankerstown House Boutique Hotel as a Chef De Partie in 2013 before returning to The Black Bull Inn as an Executive Sous Chef from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, Ryan took on the role of Head Chef at The Black Bull Inn, where they managed a large kitchen team and oversaw the overall running of the kitchen, serving over 2500 meals a week.
Ryan's culinary experience continued with a role as a Business Development Chef at Musgrave MarketPlace in 2018 before becoming a Sous Chef at Planta Restaurants in 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Business Development Representative at TouchBistro from 2019 to 2020, focusing on software sales and cold prospecting with potential clients.
In 2020, Ryan joined Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology, initially working as a Business Development Representative before transitioning to an Account Representative role in 2021. Currently, they are in the role of Partnership Development, starting in July 2022. Throughout their career, Ryan has demonstrated their ability to excel in both culinary and business development roles.
Ryan McGivern attended Technological University Dublin from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Higher Certificate in Professional Culinary Practice. Ryan later pursued a Bachelor of Culinary Arts at the same institution from 2012 to 2017. During this time, their studies focused on factors affecting the food industry.
