Will Hall has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Will started their career in 2012 as a Research and Development Technician at LINPAC Packaging, where they were responsible for analyzing, testing, and benchmarking new and existing products. During this time, they successfully constructed a carbon footprint model for trays produced at the UK site.

In 2014, Will joined Factory Media as a Full Stack Developer, leading front-end and back-end development for multiple brand websites. Will focused on functionality, scalability, performance, and user experience using technologies such as Ruby on Rails and Node.js.

In 2017, Will transitioned to the role of Back-End Developer at Money Advice Service. Will administered all aspects of back-end infrastructure development and contributed to the entire application lifecycle. Will successfully delivered two new projects, introduced best practices in coding and testing, and leveraged technologies like Ruby on Rails to build stable and functional web applications.

In 2018, Will was promoted to the Lead Front-End Developer role at Money Advice Service. Will directed the front-end design, development, and implementation of interactive web and mobile applications, ensuring great user experience. Will also served as a Technical Lead, Manager, and Coach within a cross-functional Agile development team, championing standards of accessibility and responsiveness.

In 2019, Will took a Winter Sabbatical from software development and worked as a Ski Instructor at Ski Marmot Basin. This experience allowed him to expand their communication skills and styles, adapt to each client, and find effective coaching styles to achieve success.

In 2019, Will also worked as a Code Mentor, providing guidance and support to others in coding.

In 2020, Will joined Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology as a Software Developer, focusing on developing cloud-based legal technology solutions.

Will Hall completed a web development bootcamp at Makers in 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering at Durham University from 2006 to 2010. Before attending university, Will obtained A Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Electronics at Bradford Grammar School from 1996 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Will also holds certifications as a CSIA Level 1 Ski Instructor from the Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance/Alliance des moniteurs de ski du Canada, obtained in December 2019, and as a Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England, obtained in June 2018.
