Roberto Torres

Roberto Torres has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Roberto started their career at Instituto Jalisciense de Ciencias Forenses in 2013 as a Web Moodle Admin, where they managed courses and user accounts on the e-Learning platform Moodle. Roberto provided training to key stakeholders on platform usage.

In 2014, Roberto joined Jabil as an IT Process Engineer, ensuring the successful completion of assigned project phases within budgeted time and cost constraints. Roberto also ensured infrastructure networking and systems remained available during production hours.

In 2017, Roberto joined Herbalife as a Senior IT Business Analyst, where their responsibilities included creating user stories and documenting artifacts as part of an agile project management methodology. Roberto built and maintained relationships with key stakeholders and created prototypes of web applications to improve business and customer satisfaction. Roberto also ensured that applications and features worked according to business design and evaluated the performance of project teams to meet targets and deadlines.

In 2019, Roberto joined HCL Technologies as a Development Product Owner for a brief period before transitioning to Clip as a Product Manager. At Clip, they prioritized the product roadmap with development and cross-functional teams, aligned the product vision with market and customer needs, and led engineering teams in developing automatic financial reconciliation tools and payment gateway integration. As a Senior Product Manager, they played a key role in the company's payment platform and financial systems.

Throughout their career, Roberto has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in agile frameworks, and a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting business objectives.

Roberto Torres has a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the Universidad de Guadalajara, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Roberto later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Universidad Tecnológica de México, completing it in 2023. Additionally, Roberto is currently studying for another MBA degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at Universidad Tecmilenio.

In terms of certifications, Roberto has obtained several. Roberto completed the Product Management Foundations course at the Product Institute in January 2023. In August 2022, they completed the Business Management Program (Mini-MBA) at the International Business Management Institute (IBMI). In April 2022, Roberto completed the Advanced Product Management: Vision, Strategy & Metrics course from Udemy. Prior to that, they obtained a certificate in Product Design from Udacity in September 2021. Roberto also holds the Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) certification from CertiProf, which they received in December 2020. In July 2018, they completed the SAFe Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. Roberto obtained the ITIL Foundations V3 IT Service Management certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in September 2015. Lastly, in October 2019, they achieved the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile.
