Andy Brown has held various roles in the construction and logistics industry. Andy started their career at Mace Group in 2004, where they worked in management and leadership roles across different sectors. In 2006, they became the Director of Mace Logistics, where they oversaw construction logistics subcontracting projects. Andy then joined Transport for London in 2013 as a Principal Consultant, leading various functions in the Bank Station Capacity Upgrade project. In 2016, they became the Head of Construction Planning and Logistics at High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd, responsible for strategic implementation and managing site operations. Andy later worked at Laing O'Rourke, Select Plant Hire, and JRL Group as a Logistics Leader and Group Logistics Director. In 2021, they took on roles as a Membership Grade Assessor at The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and The Chartered Institute of Building. In 2023, they became a Project Director at Clipfine Ltd. Throughout their career, Andy has focused on improving integration, developing efficiencies, and implementing software solutions to bring savings to projects and businesses.
Andy Brown attended Hymers College from 1983 to 1994, where they obtained their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Following this, from 1995 to 1999, they attended The University of Manchester, where they earned a B.Eng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering.
