Community Manager & Quality Coordinator at CLIQ Digital

Kai Chen has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Starting in 2018, Kai worked as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at CSA-EUR, where they led marketing and communication efforts and co-organized the annual Study Trip to China. In 2019, they became the Secretary of the 38th Board at the International Faculty Association ACE, where they supervised committees, managed communication, handled recruitment, and curated databases. In 2020, Kai was a Digital Content and Social Media Intern at Spotted by Locals. In 2021, they worked as a Customer Service Employee at Tea Up, and concurrently as a Residence Assistant at SSH, responsible for managing international students' stay and serving as the first point of contact. In 2022, Kai participated in the Coopr Academy, an honors program where they worked on a real-life PR consultancy case for Madurodam. Currently, Kai is a Community Manager/Quality Coordinator at CLIQ Digital.

Kai Chen's education history begins with their Abitur (Allgemeine Hochschulreife) degree from Evangelisches Gymnasium Meinerzhagen, which was obtained from 2010 to 2018. Following this, Kai attended Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2018 to 2021, earning a Bachelor's degree in International Bachelor Arts and Culture Studies. During this time, they also completed a minor in Chinese Studies, focusing on Chinese Economy and Society, at Leiden University from 2020 to 2021.

In 2015 to 2016, Kai took part in a High School Exchange Year at Idaho Arts Charter School. Continuing their education, Kai pursued a Master's degree in Media & Business at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2021 to 2022.

Additionally, Kai obtained certifications such as Dutch Beginner 1 from CSA-EUR: Chinese Student Association Erasmus University Rotterdam in April 2019. They also earned a Certificate for Advanced English (CAE) C1 from Cambridge Assessment English in February 2018.

In 2022 to 2023, Kai plans to engage in an exchange semester at National Chengchi University to study Communication and Media Studies.
