Carol Mandel

Distinguished Presidential Fellow at CLIR

Carol Mandel is currently serving as a Distinguished Presidential Fellow at the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) since February 2019. In addition, Carol has been the Dean at New York University since April 1999. Previously, Carol held the position of Deputy University Librarian at Columbia University Libraries from 1988 to 1999, and served as Associate Executive Director at the Association of Research Libraries from 1979 to 1984. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Library Science (MSLS) and a Master of Arts (MA) from Columbia University.
