Avrum Elmakis

Founder and CEO of CLMBR, the vision of the company came to Avrum in late 2018 and the business was formed in mid-2019. He is passionate about vertical climbing as a natural and primal movement that is self-regulating, no-impact, and highly efficient. He specializes in disruptive innovation and has had multiple successful exits over his career. Prior to founding CLMBR, Avrum was the Founder and CEO of TDBBS, one of the US’s largest sellers of natural dog treats and chews. During his tenure, he earned the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, amongst many other honors. He still serves on the board of TDBBS, along with Lumena Labs, Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver, and the James Madison University Entrepreneurship Council. Avrum is also an active member of YPO and resides in Cherry Hills Village, CO with his wife Lauren and their four daughters.
