Mark Amato

Mark Amato is the Founder and CEO of Clocktower Engineering, a firm focused on machine automation, plasma physics, and motion control since April 2019. Prior to this, Mark served as Vice President of Systems Engineering and Software at ProTom International, overseeing systems engineering and software development for a new proton therapy medical device, and previously held positions as Senior Systems Engineer in the same company and Systems Engineering Lead at CyPhy Works. Mark's experience includes roles at Applied Materials, Varian Semiconductor, and Raytheon, along with a foundation in web development from a position at Cornell University. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, both from Cornell University.
