John Urban is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the supply chain and logistics sectors. Currently, Urban serves as a Board Member at Chain.io and Clockwork Logistics Systems, as well as a Strategic Advisor at Desteia and Zencargo. Previously, Urban held the position of Chairman and CEO at Slync.io, where innovative automation solutions for global shippers were developed. Urban has also contributed to Mercado as a Director on the Board and provided strategic guidance to ClearMetal and MatchBack Systems, Inc. Notably, Urban founded GT Nexus, which revolutionized supply chain processes through a cloud-based platform. Urban holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from St. Bonaventure University.
