Marcos Zárate has a diverse work experience. From 2022 to present, they have been working as a Software Engineer for Clockwork Systems, Inc. From 2019 to present, they have been a Laboratory Assistant for MIT School of Engineering, teaching courses such as 6.009: Fundamentals of Programming, 6.0001: Introduction to CS and Programming using Python, and 6. From 2019 to present, they have also been an Undergraduate Researcher for the MIT Election Data and Science Lab. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Mathematics Tutor for Lo de Pauli. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Course Instructor for the Talented Youth program of OMAPA, leading Olympiad mathematics courses for high school students taking part in international contests in mathematics and developing original course material.
Marcos Zárate has an extensive education history. Marcos obtained a High School Diploma from Colegio Internacional in Asunción, Paraguay, in 2016. Marcos then attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2021, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering. Marcos is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Computer Science at MIT, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Marcos also holds various certifications, including a Superior Professor of Piano and Musical Language from the Ministerio de Educación y Ciencias in Paraguay, and several Microsoft certifications.
