Dean Akey

Over his 30 years of experience in the power industry, Mr. Akey has held numerous executive-level roles in power marketing/origination, business development, mergers & acquisitions, trading, risk management and operations for investor-owned utilities, IPPs, power marketing companies and original equipment manufacturers, including Tyr Energy, Nordex, Aquila, Illinova and Illinois Power.

Mr. Akey is a veteran of the US Army and completed his undergraduate studies at Illinois State University and advanced studies at the University of Oklahoma and the Wharton School of Business.
