Ann Close

Ann is the Founder and President of Close HR. With 20+ years of HR and senior-level leadership expertise and 10+ years of small business ownership success, Ann is a highly trusted HR/People Management business partner. She most often serves as a subject matter HR expert and consultant/advisor to C-level executives and entrepreneurs. Often known as the “HR Football Lady,” Ann uses her love of sports to communicate and implement HR Game Plan strategies.

Ann is a Certified Professional HR Consultant and is a member of both the National Chapter of Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the local SHRM chapter, Raleigh Metro Society of Human Resources Management (RMSHRM). In addition, she is a frequent speaker and presenter on HR and small business subject matter for community and client-based events.

Ann is an active member and participant in several Chambers of Commerce in the Triangle area and volunteers with many community affiliations. She has a strong commitment to faith, family, and serving others well, and being a strong advocate for entrepreneurship and small businesses. Among Ann’s favorite pastimes is spending time with loved ones or watching a great game of college or pro football, basketball or baseball. She is a true sports enthusiast.
