Niko Simonson

Niko Simonson is a Senior Frontend Engineer specializing in UI engineering and design systems, currently working at Close. With a diverse background in digital product design and development, Niko has contributed to a variety of projects across startups and large enterprises, including notable roles at BLUE ORIGIN and Substantial. Niko earned a BA in Anthropology and Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame, where they also served as a photographer for the Observer Newspaper. Their experience includes community organizing and multimedia design for nonprofit initiatives, reflecting a strong commitment to social advocacy.
