Edward Grech has over 8 years of professional experience in the software development industry. In 2019, they began working as a Blockchain Engineer for CloseCross. Prior to that, they worked at Ellp from 2016-2019, where they were a Product Architect/Developer. In this role, they ideated the concept of the Ellp desktop application as a bridge between the desktop computer and the Internet of Things (IoT). Edward also developed a Proof of Concept for Ellp and led the dev team to develop Ellp into a fully-featured product. From 2011-2016, they worked at Uniblue Systems as a Software Architect/Developer. In this role, they were responsible for the technical improvement of the suite of Windows utility software products, and the resolution of long-standing technical issues. Edward also led and mentored frontend and backend devs in local and remote teams, and was responsible for backend Cloud solutions including for affiliate-tracking and analytics, providing APIs to partners, and integration with third-party platforms.

Edward Grech graduated from the University of Malta in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theirtory. Edward then went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Theirtory from the same university, graduating in 2014.
