Brian Kay

Brian Kay currently serves as the State Manager at Closed Loop, responsible for implementing sustainable business solutions for venues and events since November 2022. Prior to this role, Brian managed sustainable event waste management solutions as the Events and Operations Manager across Australia and New Zealand. Brian's experience includes a stint as the Social Media Manager for Oasis Backpackers' Hostels in Spain and Portugal, focusing on high-quality content creation and customer engagement. Previously, at Tesco, Brian held several roles, including Driver Safety and Compliance Support, where assistance was provided to manage new driver assessments and support during a significant capacity increase due to COVID-19. Additional experience ranges from tutoring English at Cambly Inc. to conducting market research interviews at PwC, as well as various positions at Subway UK & Ireland. Brian holds a Certificate of Higher Education in Computer Science from Ulster University.
