Rachel Miller

Rachel Miller is the Founder and CEO of Closegap, a company that helps businesses make better, more informed decisions based on insights from the outside. Prior to Closegap, Rachel worked as an account executive at Meltwater, a media intelligence platform used by over 25,000 companies to stay on top of online conversations, extract relevant insights, and use them to strategically manage their brand and stay ahead of their competition.

Before their time at Meltwater, Rachel was with the Amsterdam Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE) where they held the title of Growth & Partnerships. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing growth strategies as well as building and maintaining relationships with key partners.

Rachel got their start in the social impact space as a Development Fellow at One Degree, Inc., where they created and implemented programs to increase access to services for low-income families. Rachel also spent time as a teacher and mentor with the Teaching Ethics Program (TEP) at the University of Southern California, where they taught classes on ethics and led discussions on ethical decision-making.

Rachel is passionate about using their skills and experience to help businesses make informed decisions that have a positive impact on society. Rachel is a strong advocate for using data and insights to drive business strategy and believes that organizations need to look outside of their internal reporting systems to a world of data that is constantly growing and changing.

Rachel Miller has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from USC Marshall School of Business, a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from University of Amsterdam, and a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on International Exchange Program from Corvinus University of Budapest. Rachel has also completed a Trauma, Recovery & Restoration course with Dr. Bessel A. van der Kolk, MD and has a certification from the American Reiki Academy as a Reiki Practitioner.
