Assim Gupta

Assim Gupta has a diverse and extensive work experience. Assim is the CEO and founder of Closeloop Technologies, where they provide senior-level product strategy, technology, and software consulting for startups and leading technology companies. Assim has worked with major companies such as Apple, Google, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Prior to this, Assim founded Piktonik Inc., where they designed and launched three revenue-generating SaaS products for professional photographers, serving over 1800 customers. Assim also worked as a Director at VMware, managing an agile program management office and delivering software and IT projects with high complexity. Assim has experience working with Oracle, where they provided CRM software as a hosted service and created packaged solutions for industry-specific business processes. Assim has also served as a visiting faculty at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and founded and acted as CEO of Bigates Software Inc, providing off-shore engineering services. Assim's earlier roles include working as a Business Process Analyst at SGI and a Product Manager at Essar, where they played a crucial role in telecom services product ownership and strategy.

Assim Gupta has a diverse education background in the fields of project management, international marketing and finance, and electronics and computer science. Assim obtained an Advanced Project Management Certificate from Stanford University in 2015-2016. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Marketing & Finance from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade from 1994 to 1996. In 1989-1993, Assim earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Computer Science from Punjab Engineering College.

Furthermore, Assim Gupta holds additional certifications in Oracle E-Business Suite Management, obtained from Oracle in August 2013, and as a Certified ScrumMaster in Agile Methodology, obtained from Scrum Alliance in December 2012.
